EUDR implementation is postponed but not cancelled. What are the next steps? What should you do? Here you will find all the information and useful links.

The EUDR legislation has been in force since 29 June 2023 and was scheduled to be applied on 30 December 2024.

Following the request of many market participants and other stakeholders, the Commission has agreed to postpone the application of the legislation by 1 year to 30 December 2025.

For some small and micro enterprises, the date has even been set to 30 June 2026. However, no changes have been made to the legislation itself and no adjustments have been accepted.

This creates a clear legal framework to enable everyone to develop their Due Diligence systems with sufficient time and to include all raw materials.

What to do with the extra time?

We advise everyone to continue developing the due diligence system at full speed. Research into the exact origin of the raw materials (polygons), developing the supply chains and getting suppliers on board should be the main focus.
