Here are the main rules for using the RSPO logo:
- RSPO certification and license agreement: The logo can only be used if there is a valid License Agreement with RSPO (this applies to participation in the group certificate). For on-product logos, there must also be a valid RSPO Supply Chain Certificate and the product must be certified according to the rules of the RSPO.
- Obtaining permission: Before you can use the RSPO logo on products, packaging or marketing materials, group members must obtain permission to use the RSPO logo via our website www.groepsmanager.com.
- On-product use: This is the RSPO logo that can be placed on the packaging of an RSPO certified product, indicating that this specific product contains RSPO certified palm oil. This logo can only be used by companies that have a valid RSPO Supply Chain certification and a License Agreement with RSPO (all our group memebers can place the logo on packaging). The logo must be placed in a prominent and visible location on the product or packaging. It must be clearly visible to the consumer and must not be distorted, coloured, or altered.
- Promotional use: This is the RSPO logo that you can use to indicate that your company is RSPO certified, but it does not indicate the RSPO status of a product. All RSPO members can use this logo, provided there is a valid license agreement (included in the group certificate).
- Mentioning the correct License Code: The logo must always be used in combination with the correct License Code (for the group certificate, we all have the same license code). This code must be added under the logo or can be downloaded from our website.
- No deception: It is prohibited to place the logo on a product that does not meet RSPO standards or to use the logo in a way that can be misleading to consumers.
